Parts of a window type AC

Window type
pros
- budget
- easy installation
- dedicated saksakan
- easier maintenance (easy to remove for cleaning and return)
- compact (tipid sa space)
cons
- security risk (if there are no grills)
- noise/vibration (solution: put foam or dumper on the edges of the hole to lessen vibration and noise); can also be security risk (but there are units with lesser noise)
Split type
pros
- no need for large hole because wall mounted
- lower risk for security risk
- silent or less noise (the condensing unit is what vibrates)
- aesthetic
cons
- pricey
- maintenance is more difficult (cleaners need to clean the unit in the room itself)
- needs more outdoor space
- installation price (solution multi-split ac)
Floor standing type
has outdoor and indoor component
pros
- no need for large hole because wall mounted
- easier installation
- better cooling capacity
cons
- priciest
- consumes floor space (bad for small area; intended for larger spaces)
- needs space outdoors
- difficult to move
Tips
Inverter AC
- variable speed
- when it detects that the area is already cool, it turns down the cooling power and less noisy.
- pricier but will incur less electricity expenses
- less noisy
Positioning
- Put window type aircon above
- AC unit has to have a 0.50 meter gap between it and an obstruction to make exhausting hot air easier.
- Check that no gaps in windows.
- Put rubber fillers under the doors to fill gaps
