Tribute to the Clouds of South Cotabato

Banquets and banquets where life all starts
Myriads and myriads of fearless clouds
Wings of which fly on deafening winds
Souls who stay unrestlessly

Once nonetheless the creeps are true
Voices unheard bother nights dew
Thousands of beads-men dancing with death
Dark in the hallows of hell's feet bed

A heart I learned to throw off ground
And picked before I left the mound
Surpassing the TEARS
the RIVERS
the FALLS
And finally worth dying on ends of its calls.

I thought I was already a Filipino
'Til the crescent and cross said I was not
That way I saw the difference
of walking with streetlights and streets alone.

I'm coming home with tearless eyes
Bade from a mother's bossom and breathes deep cry

I'd say I rather kill a fellowman
Than bring my quail on neverland
